The Shadow Colour Pavilion

The Malta International Contemporary Art Space (MICAS), in collaboration with the Valletta Cultural Agency (VCA) and Esplora Interactive Science Centre, is excited to announce its forthcoming event, the Shadow Colour Pavilion, an immersive sensorial experience, offering visitors of all ages the opportunity for playful creative engagement.

The Shadow Colour Pavilion utilises pure light colour to immerse visitors in a multisensorial experience to explore colour perception, light, shadow and space. It offers stimulating engagement by inviting visitors to actively participate and explore creative process by moving within the pavilion and generating multiple coloured shadows. The Shadow Colour Pavilion is an initiative of MICAS’ education and community strand programme that is intended to foster and strengthen community and neighbourhood engagement, while prioritizing inclusion and wider participation.
