Year 8 students win the ‘Be a buddy not a bully’ competition

Aikikai Malta in collaboration with the Anti-Bullying Services within the NSSS organised an arts/craft competition for students in the later years of primary school, middle and secondary school. The aim of the competition was to help learners reflect on bullying and non-violence issues by unleashing their creativity.

Year 8 students Cassidy Theresa Benecke (8 Pearl) and Elitsa Bagrain Petrova (8 Coral) won the Section 2 competition for Middle Schools with the theme ‘Be a buddy not a bully’.  The poem they included in their poster is being reproduced here in the poster set by Religion teacher Mr V. Bartolo.

The students were awarded a free training term from Aikikai Malta.  Well done to our students!
